Social sustainability at Algol

Algol’s aim is to be an excellent and preferred partner for all its stake­holders. The role of our employees is particularly significant. We develop our operations together with our employees

In addition to working at our own sites, Algol employees work in design, maintenance, customer and installation tasks, for example in production facilities, warehouses, construction sites, healthcare facilities and home visits. In addition, our employees can work remotely if the nature of the work allows it.

Social responsibility towards our own workforce means promoting the safety, wellbeing, diversity, and equality of our employees within the work­place.

We offer employees versatile work tasks and opportunities to develop their professional skills. We act as a responsible employer by encouraging development of personal skills and a heathy work-life balance. Our working environment is encouraging and supports continuous learning, and we develop our ways of working through ongoing and open dialogue with our employees.

At the end of 2025, Algol employed 503 people. The company had operations in nine countries.

Employee satisfaction surveys are conducted annually within the Algol Group. The survey rates in 2025 varied among Group companies from 64% to 100%. Our employees perceive the Group’s strengths as, among other things, the support of their colleagues and supervisors, the meaning­fulness of their work and the opportunity to develop their skills.

Our goal is for all employees to participate in annual performance and development discussions. In addition, our ongoing objective is to achieve zero accidents and incidents across the entire Group.

We require suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and other legislation, regulations, general and specific obligations, agreements, guidelines and good business practices in all their activities.
