Kristina Pentti-von Walzel elected to board of Algol Oy

Kristina Pentti-von Walzel (b. 1978), MSc (Economics and Business Administration), MSc (Political Science), has been elected a member of the Board of Directors of Algol Oy as of 30 March 2022. 

Pentti-von Walzel brings solid and diverse board and ownership expertise to the Algol Group. She represented the owner family on the Board of Directors of Lemminkäinen Corporation for around a decade until the company merged with YIT Corporation, after which she continued as a member of the Board of Directors of YIT until the Annual General Meeting in spring 2022.

Pentti-von Walzel is also an entrepreneur and owner of Laponie Oy. In addition, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the unaffiliated think tank Libera and 1st Vice Chair of the Board of the Foundation for Economic Education (Liikesivistysrahasto).
