Joakim Eurenius appointed as new Managing Director of Histolab Products as of 1 March 2024
Joakim Eurenius has been appointed Managing Director of Histolab Products AB as of 1 March 2024. He will transfer to Histolab from the position of Sales Director at Mediq Sweden. Prior to that, he has worked as Managing Director at Hartmann Scandinavia and country manager in the Smith&Nephew Group. Joakim has a specialist nursing degree and an MBA from the University of Gothenburg.
The current Managing Director Olof Jenefeldt will resign on 29 February, but he will remain in the role of Senior Advisor to the Board until August 2024. Olof has been active for the past two decades as MD and owner in the company, which was founded by his father. He continued as MD also after the company was acquired by the Finnish Algol Group in 2012. The succession takes place in a spirit of good mutual understanding between Olof and the company.
