Algol Trehab acquires Suomen Terveysmaailma

Algol Trehab has acquired the entire shareholding of Suomen Terveysmaailma on 10 June 2025. The companies will merge during the latter part of 2025.

With the acquisition, Algol Trehab strengthens its position in the Finnish assistive devices market and expands its product range to include also care beds and mattresses. At the same time, Algol Trehab’s customer base will expand more among private companies and associations. Customers can purchase or rent the products with a variety of installation and maintenance services.

“The acquisition of Suomen Terveysmaailma is part of Algol Trehab’s growth strategy. Our aim is to strengthen the assistive devices business, and the acquisition is also an investment in the future. The broader offering enables a more comprehensive product range and service package for both current and new customers. As the population ages, demand for various assistive devices is increasing, especially in home care,” says Johan Wulff, Managing Director of Algol Trehab.

Suomen Terveysmaailma has been operating since 1998. In 2024, the company posted revenue of EUR 2.4 million. As a result of the merger, nine Suomen Terveysmaailma employees will transfer to Algol Trehab as long-service employees.
